Mountain Biking - Good shops in So Cal - Orange County

Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a new mountain bike soon. Still haven't decided what to get though. Thinking of the Giant Rainier.

Anywho, can anybody recommend some good bike shops in Southern California or more specifically Orange County? Thanks for any suggestions!

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out the store. When I went to their site I didn't see any Giant stuff though. Seems common to alot of other bike sites too.

How do you like your bike by the way? I'm looking for a decent bike mainly for XC. No huge drops or anything like that but good from some decent downhill stuff. I've also heard alot about the Jamis Dakar but not sure how well it performs for XC.

There is a great shop in Woodland Hills but it is a ways for you. If you ever head up this way stop in at WheelWorld. Good people, knowlegable, and lots of product. The have a web site but it does not do the shop justice. But again, it is a long way from OC. if you ever do head up this way shoot me a mail or post and I can tell you or show you some sweet trails in the SantaMonicas.

Just up the road from you is Diamond Bar Cyclery. See Carlos, he's a Giant dealer, come up the 57 and get off at Grand Ave and head toward Diamond Bar, the shop is at the corner of Grand and Diamond Bar near Albertsons. Hope that helps and good luck.

Ok cool, thanks! I actually found the bike at Performance in Fountain Valley (right next to Supergo).

But I am still looking for a good local bike shop to do business with. I went to Jax in Irvine and really liked it there.
