Your blog blows man. No comments about the ReBike which is the best recumbent ever made and cost less than $500. Thats a solid recumbent made by experts and faster than your single speed Schwinn.

No one cares about TREK. ReBike is where its at.

Everyone knows what a ReBike is Tom Swift. You can buy one on ebay for $80 you silly girl.

I strap my AM radio on my rack and crank it up when I go for a ride.

What is a Rebike?

A ReBike is a Giant Revive without what makes a Giant Revive cool. It has approximately the same customer base (older folks who want to get back gently into cycling in comfort, without going recumbent all the way). And yes, it's fast, if you're willing to push hard enough on the pedals :-)

Nice blog by the way...

What is cool is anyone can buy a ReBike for $80 on ebay.

It is a shame to think of all the people out there who have spent thousands buying overpriced recumbent bikes that have no for sale value. Some spend $3000 or more and they can not give their bike away when they get tired of it.

The smart recumbenteur owns a ReBike. Buy it cheap and it will last forever.

God Bless

If Spud's is on a Rebike then I need one to...
Well I traded in my HED ALP's for a set of really good MTB wheels to put on my Aero for touring. It's the only thing a fast 'bent is good for anyway.
A really fast women Triathlete is buying them and I bet she could beat most "fast" 'benters with my HED wheels on a Tri-bike anyhow...
At least they will be used by someone who knows how to ride a bike fast....

Magilla you silly girl,

It is good you sold your wheels to someone who will use them. Hed wheels do not go with the yellow flags you have on your single speed and touring recumbent.

If I ever sell my ReBike I will buy a Volae at ebay for $100. The Volae is the next best recumbent after the ReBike. I will not be suckered into paying top dollar for some over priced titanium touring recumbent from the St. Petersburg, FL people.

Why pay over $3000 for a flimsy and bouncy over rated recumbent from FL when an $80 ReBike can do it all and then some.

Correction, Spuds, the Bacchettamobile is nearer to $4,000 which makes your rebike an even better value.

That is outrageous and negligent. $4000 for a unsafe recumbent. There are many cases of people falling to the ground when they unclip from that high pedal style recumbent.

People are much better off owning a ReBike. They will not fall over and break a hip, leg, arm, shoulder, neck or wrist when they put their foot on the ground to stop.

I (rebike) am (rebike) for some (rebike) reason (rebike) starting to feel (rebike) a strange (rebike) desire (rebike) to own a (rebike) type of recumbent (rebike) that I have (rebike) never seen or really even (rebike) read about (rebike). It's called (rebike) the rebike. Does anyone (rebike) know anything (rebike) about them?

LOL. Yeah, Rebike was the 'price leader' in the industry before BikeE. Their bikes were industrial looking, and weight was commesurate with their looks. Some, like me, referred to them as ReBar. By BROL's proposed criteria they would be classed as a semi-recumbent, since their seat adjustment was vertical. They weren't exactly setting the world on fire with their 50-lb bikes, but they were doing OK selling them to trailer park retirees in Florida, et al. Then Sears bought them out. I saw exactly one in their showroom before suddenly they weren't being carried anymore. Big surprise. Needless to say, they are no longer made, so the one that mooky has is now a collector's item. Let's see a pic, mooky.

Why gee, you can pick one up(it'll help build the old muscles) on ebay for $80 plus $80 shipping.;) Just think you could ride by the senior citizens' home and the little old ladies would flocking out just to meet you! :D

Well,

I like the good times over here on this forum.
I have a few more comments on my Blog about a recent experience.
Some of you might find it usefull or even enlightening on the DF vs Bent thing.
Whatever....

Hey..I'm happy to see you mentioned Wynton on your blog space. I heard him interviewed on NPR the other days...He was truly eloquent with both words and his horn, like you said. I felt so bad for him, and his music really filled my heart with the thoughts of all those people and lives. Long live New Orleans

I love your comment about USCF rejects. :)

I've got to go meet some rejects for a ride later this morning; I'll be flying the banner for bentdom with my Aero.

I have no banner on my ReBike. I do have a big yellow flag. You should have a big yellow flag on your Volae. All recumbenteurs should have big yellow flags on their recumbents.
