Today is Monday and I plan on riding a metric on Saturday. The mileage is not concerning me since I do a regular 45 mile club ride every Saturday and put in ~120 miles for the week. What I have a question is this upcoming week prior to the ride on Saturday. Yesterday I did a 20 mile easy recovery and today I did a 25 mile faster pace ride - besides a quick spin on Friday for a few miles, what should the rest of my week (T,W,Th) consist of? Should I still do my regular 20 miles a day for those days or should I "rest my legs" this week?
