My head rests on a wall. I have to pee. Looks like a good spot. It feels so good to pee, almost too good. So I wake up. ****, damn dream. Luckily it didn't go through to my sleeping bag. It was about 8am or so when I got up. Thomas was still in his tent. I started putting things away and he unzipped and did the same shortly after. We fixed breakfast over the stove, a first for me. I had oatmeal with granola and honey mixed in. The mosquitoes were pretty bad, so we suited up in our raingear for protection. Around 9:15am we took off in strong headwinds. My legs were feeling sore and unstretched. The road was nice and smooth but there were a few decent uphills that put me into low gear. We stopped at Jack's Corner about 20 miles down, for a rest and a bite to eat. After Jack's Corner, I felt I was beginning to get into a groove. It also helped that much of the next 30 miles was either flat or downhill. We reached Johnson's Crossing and had a snack and rested up a bit. Most of these stops, Jack's Corner, Johnson's Crossing are either junctions or river crossings and have pretty minor accommodations like gas station and small cafe/bakery and possibly some rooms for rent. Johnson's Crossing was the Teslin River crossing. The river is quite big and I enjoyed the scenery as we crossed. We ended the day after about another 20 miles when we saw a nice spot to camp near a creek. I washed up in the VERY cold creek and cooked up some mac and cheese for dinner. Tomorrow we hit Teslin in the morning after 10 or so miles. (68 miles)

Peace

Dave
