it's just a wheelie but you don't pedal.

first learn how to do a sit down wheelie and use your back brakes to keep from falling over backwards.

then find a very steep hill and , with no speed, get in the wheelie position. have your back brakes on FULL

slowly let your brakes out so you roll forward. figure out where the balance point is.

practice,practice practice.

when i ride anywhere from point A to point B i practice manuals.

just pick a spot in the cement or dirt that you plan to pull up and spot a place in the distance you think you can keep the front end up to.

try, try, try again....

Try, crash, try crash, etc etc etc...
Start on the ground and ride with one foot on one off. Find a small jump and take one foot of when you go off it, just a bit. Then try to get your foot higher and so forth. Then just keep going off bigger jumps doing the same thing. Only lift your foot a few inches or so until you get your ballance and are able to get your foot back on the pedal befor landing. Once you build your confidance then start to lift your foot higher and higher. Also, as you lift your foot you might be tempted to push on your bars to much throughing your bike out from under you, bad, try not to use to much pressure on the bars. The other way to learn, just launch some serious air take your foot off and see what happens and learn from your mistake ( this is the way I prefer:D ). Good luck.

Definitly on the ground it will. In the air you just have to prctice and if they do come down you need to be able to get them back horizontal befor landing. On small jumps it wont be much of a concern but the bigger you go the more important it will be to have the pedals level. Practice.
