General Cycling Discussion - Yikes! I like these forums.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I have to admit, I don't think I've enjoyed any part of the internet as much as these forums. Darned if they ain't addictive.:)

What I like most about these forums is the lack of flaming teenagers.:)

Well, this thread has degraded into a pile of popo.
But the originial thought is echoed by myself.
BTW: Joe, can we get spell & grammer check added? I need help.

I apologize once again, its just that some people light my fuse. I have actually used the ignore button for the first time today, maybe that will help.

Sorry for helping to popo the thread! I, too, love this board, not actually for the things that aren't here, but for what is--all these fun, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly people!
Group hug, anyone? :D
Bike Forums has been super for me. Even when we stray from topic, we generally are interesting and appropriately mature or appropriately immature:)
Even if I don't have or understand all of the answers I get here, when I visit my LBS, this forum arms me with some darn good questions.
On the downside though, I expect what I have learned here and the enthusiasm it has engendered in me has at last reckoning cost me in the neighborhood of $1200 that I did not anticipate spending in 2003:D However, the good people here also supplied me with the arguments and justification I needed to convince my wife that I was making an investment rather than catering to a craving:p

Same here !
and one other thing I'd like to mention is that this forum ticks over faster than a Formula 1 car, it's amazing how many people wish to contribute to the discussions.
Never a dull moment ........... just like cycling in fact.
