when you guys are bmx and doin bunny hope and stuff do ur tires normally go out of true is ther anyway to fix it? what do i do?

If your wheels are going out of true from bunnyhopping, there's probably something wrong with them, like uneven spoke tension or a lack of it altogether. Running your tires too low and bending your rims is another way your wheels could get jacked up. Don't try to true a bent rim. If spoke tension is uneven when the wheel is straight, your rim is bent.

That is to say, if your wheel is out of true and in order to true it you have to make one side SUPER tight and the other side is way loose, it means your rim is bent. Uneven spoke tension (as on a bent rim) = broken spokes, broken hubs. Sometimes you can bend 'em back with the proper application of precision tools (hammer and bits of 2x4), but that depends on the wheel and how bad it is.

That's better. Have you seen that machine that "Rolls" a rim back into shape? The "Willroller" - they claim it can straighten 95% of damaged hoops. Of course, it it's taken a hit big enough to damage the rim, you probably want to toss it in the heap anyway. Oh well. Just got back from my 2nd day (night, actually) of working at my local shop. Not a bad gig for a few hours a week.

Nope, haven't seen such a device. We do have a big thingie that pulls vertical hops out of a rim, though. That one comes in handy now and again. We don't spend too much time with bent rims, since replacements are comparatively cheap next to labor costs and straightening bent rims just weakens them even more.
