you are quite prolific tonight.

could it have been an old school time trial bike with gears?

it is okay to coast sometimes, you know.

but it made me sadOh the horror. You should be sadder seeing a pursuit bike on the street. I mean, it's out of it's proper place, right?

We need a forum wherein we can ***** about other cyclists. Like the guy who came flying off of a one-way (going the wrong way, I might add) and right into the middle of traffic last night. He was on a Bianchi road bike, decked out in all the latest gear but he failed to look when he came onto the busy street and cut off 2 cyclists and one car. Unbelievable, I really thought he was going to get smoked by that car.

Or howabout the roadie last week who walked his Concorde into the bike lane, hopped on, had a few problems with his shoes which took a couple of tries to get clicked in and then slowly start up....he didn't look around him at all, just assumed that all us other cyclists would stop for him. Luckily, I saw him coming and veered around a couple of cars and avoided the whole thing altogethers, but wow, it was annoying to watch.

Whenever I asked how I manage to fly through traffic every day, all year round and not get hit by a car, I always tell the person asking that it isn't usually the cars that worry me, it is other cyclists ;) :P :)

We totally need that forum. My last accident, a faceplant into a set of construction barrels, was caused by some mountain bike commando who forced me off the road and didn't even look back. I was so mad. I was literally spitting blood and throwing construction cones around. It was awesome.

Man, I'm out of town on business, cooped up in hotel rooms in small-ass towns, and I just got banned for 3 days from my other message board, for saying, and I quote,

"Man, that made me laugh my ass off."

I got banned for because of the "swear filter", because I wrote it as "a*s", instead of just typing "ass" and letting the filter catch it. So much for self-censorship. I was just trying to help...

Damn facists...

EDIT: See?! I can say "ass" here! I love this place!
