I need info on a Peugeot Marseille frame circa 1993. My internet searches aren't turning up much. Thanks.
Probably made in Taiwan junk.$10 tops.

I hate to sound ignorant, but isn't Peugeot a French company?

The French car company license the name, they have nothing to do with production. Certainly the more recent Peugeot badged bikes have been produced in Taiwan (not that there's anything wrong with Taiwanese production - most bike manufactures including Trek, Giant, Specialized use Taiwan for at least some of their production).

...and China.
European brands, too. You can buy a Taiwanese Bianchi, and I'm sure there are others.
Not implying anywrong with Taiwan built frames, as there is some good stuff. Even the Peugeots that came out of France with post 1985 shimano index shifting were pretty sorry. The French built Versailles,of tig welded magnaloy I have is pretty worthless.

In Ya'lls opinion, will it suffice as a decent intro bike for someone new to road cycling?
Anything with 2 wheels and pedals is better than nothing.Just dont go crazy pumping money into upgrades,or pay alot.Clean it it and enjoy. There can be a lot of decent miles in even the low end stuff.
