Mountain Biking - PIC POST: Team Bikes, Custom or Prototypes ONLY

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

C'mon floks only the pick of the pack here.... Plz, no catalouge crap or "nice" bikes. Make me drool!
Well, theoretically all of my bikes are "custom" since I built them all from the frame up. However my only true "custom" bike is my roady since that frame was even built for me.
By custom do you mean frame built custom or bike built up from frame up and only high dollar?
Plz,
"Plz" isn't a word. If you're too lazy to type out "please" why should we bother posting pictures?

Awesome bottom bracket height. I could use that on some of the log crossings around here!

Is it just me or is that a big ass gun off his right hip (your left).

Sure, its a gun alright, but its not big.

For something handheld and to just be riding a bike around with it on your shoulder, I'd say its fairly big.

Oh, you mean big by the length and bulkyness. Ya, I would also say it would be uncomfortable to your back to be riding around with that.

I also want to know how he gets on the bike in the first place.

Looks like it might be in the middle east. Maybe some soldiers had some free time and built it.
I Smell Photoshop
i concur... look at the middle of the fork, and the shadow on the ground through the front wheel...

Its NOT altered, trust me.... Analyze it for a few minutes before you just say that because you've never seen a bike like that.... Duh. Look at the chainstay angle, plus the extension of the legs, the "home made" cross member just above the front tire, etc. The entire lower forks are nothing more than a couple of pipes shoved up onto the existing fork, a cross member attached, and the ends were flattened & drilled for the axle, then painted black.... Simple. Takes about 30 mins. to make, max....
The only possible way to have "faked" it would've been to prop the front of the bike up on something quite high, then cut away the front, then replace the front section at a lower level while leaving the rear at an extreme upward angle. Look at the ground and shadows, nothing has been tampered with.
Who cares if you believe it or not really.... Most people don't believe things they can't comprehend.... You're the "majority", not the open-minded few....
Anyway, it's the new "MineJumper" prototype from Specialized I think.... :p
The only reason i suggested it was because the middle of the front fork looks a little sketchy. I do a lot of photoshop, and yes it is possible to photoshop that bike without the complicated steps you just mentioned.

Do one then, and let's see it....
The middle of the forks look "sketchy" because they're just 2 pipes beat up onto the existing fork.

That actually looks like an M-16 , which only weighs in at 8.48 pounds with full 30 round mag. Itd be easy to bike with. :)

Yes, quite amazing...these shots were taken at Snowshoe earlier this summer. It's hard to tell from the pictures just how tall that bike is...he was riding some pretty tough stuff, considering.

Glorified suspension seatpost.
