Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - do open faced 1" threaded stems exist?

That's pretty much it really. I think I'd rather not deal with working my handlebars through a old style closed clamp and ruin my tape job every time I have to work on them. Thanks for the help.

IMO, the 3T Mutant Classic and the Cinelli Frog are the two not ugly choices.

Yeah, I have a crap Zoom stem right now with the pop-top front. I believe Deda makes one as well that looks decent.

I have the deda murex stem. It's just what you're looking for.

Try to stick to the shorter lengths though as it's a bit on the flexy side. Then again I run the 140mm and I weigh 220. I guess anything under those conditions would flex.

i also have the deda murex, it will probably flex if you are heavy...its pointy too
