Reviews are awful..Interesting cast..Plot sounds possibly interesting.
anyone seen it...Does it deserve the D rating it gets.? Nephew wants to see it.

I’ll put it up there as one of the worst of 2005… not quite as bad as XXX: State of the Union, but it will probably make my “worst of” list.
Clunky dialog.
My biggest complaint: way too many instances where the viewer has to suspend disbelief – I think that less is more in that category – a good sci-fi film/story contains only one or two fictitious premises that the viewer must accept.
And I feel sorry for Ben Kingsley… he’s a great actor but his part this movie is so poorly written. A “D” is generous for this film.
The only redeeming quality: some of the CGI monsters were interesting, but not state-of-the art.
There hasn’t been too much good sci-fi coming out of Hollywood lately.
