You mean bikercross? Only 3 hours away and having never been here sheesh :)...you ride woodlot?
I think you will find technically Whistler is going to be around the same level as England. The difference will be length of the descents. From top (Garb) to bottom you are looking at 20minutes full speed. 3 years is a lot of time. But one thing to keep in mind. Whistler has something for all skill levels. Whatever skill you are at, you will come here and be able to progress.

i would say that you dont have to be a pro to ride whistler at all, if you generally know how to mountain bike you will get used to the whistler trails quickly, and theres a few trails on the upper section that you do not need to be a pro to ride. If you have experience hitting jumps and a nice full suspension bike you will catch on quickly and have a blast.

I second Maelstrom. It has stuff for all skill levels and whatever you ride it is just plain fun.

I'll be up there next summer working in Snow Covers. Working off a bike. Cuase My mom knows the owner. They are like best friends. So he is giving me a job up there. I will be putting bikes together. (Maybe, Not sure yet.) It sounds like fun though. Get some real exp with bikes. I will finaly get a bike that doesn't have something wrong with it somehow, like every 2 weeks. Maybe I will customise my bike :D . That would be cool. New parts for 2006, so I will have a good bike I think. Then he will make me put it together lol.
Yeah, and Maelstrom, I wanna come up there but I got no ride lol. But I will be up there next summer.
