...and I'd like to know how best to start a regular training regimen. I'm a pretty fast rider, but without much endurance (thanks Joe Camel...), and more of a masher than a spinner. I rider a road bike, and I'll soon have a track bike (which will have about 77 gear inches on the road gear)
Is it best to work out once a day? Less? How long? How hard should I push myself? Should I try to go as fast as I can for as long as I can keep it up, or relax and go below my potential?
