as in groupo....brakes, shifters, derailers....going to buy the frame....going to be used in South Florida and also in Georgia and neighboring states...

Either/or... they both work well. Everyone has their preference though, except me... as long as it works I could care less. However, I have had a lot of problems with Shimano chains... I only use SRAM chains, with excellent results on both Shimano and SRAM drivetrains.
