For flatland you want to put your foot between the tire and the forks. just like a stoppie, but with your other leg pushing the frame. Eventually you'll get it.

Just like with a tailwhip in the air, kicking the frame is actually very little of the whole spin. It's a gentle push to get things started, the rest of the spin comes from your ARMS. Lead the spin with the bars, just enough to keep the rear tire off the ground. I'll also use a little bit of my forward momentum to get the frame to swing around.

basically your at the hardest part of the trick, but if you look at it as a big no footer when the bike is done swinging and under you, so i guess all i have to say is man up commit to it and possibly look down at the pedals so you can watch and see where to put your feet, if you still have trouble, spray paint your pedals something bright bright neon and you'll find your pedals real easy, good luck

so im basically on the left side of the bike, left foot on front peg, should the right foot be on right pedal or rear peg? (I noticed that I successfully did it on the pedal i think (1 out of every 100 tries). I've seen the foot jam ones, but i have front brakes so i dont feel like jamming it, but i jam it after i kick it sometimes (i might have scuffed it afterwards).

The footjam is important for balancing the bike. You can try a braked one when your pro.

i dont think doing pushups work for tailwhips, im basically having trouble balancing and landing...i tried kicking the back of the frame (back peg) but i feel its easier kicking from the pedal (which i actually nailed a couple rare times) . my landing is horibly ugly - i land the bike, and climb over to pedal the bike again
