Gonna Build a Moped

I've been pondering for awhiel whether o not I should turn an old specialize mountain bike I have into, a moped. What would be the easiest motor to use for this?

A bit pricey but the quality is there. Not a speed demon at all but still a lot of fun.

I think in Mass. you're okay but in Alabama I found out the hard way that it was considered a motorcycle. Check your laws.

Also consider an electric motor, instead of gas. They're not as powerful as gas engines, but at least you don't have to buy gas!
