Disclaimer: This video is a piece of crap. I don't know how to shoot or edit video. My camera is the cheapest thing in the catalog. It couldn't really get to any good vantage points. I don't know anything about triathlons.

With all that out of the way, yesterday, I went out to watch some of the local Ironman race, and I brought my video camera. I slapped together 6 minutes of the least crappy footage, and it's available on my website here: http://tomtheisen.com/images/Madison%20Ironman%20'05.wmv

If you're an Ironman freak, you may be interested, otherwise it's pretty boring.

Awesome video dude, too bad you couldnt see the finish. This just solidified me not wanting to do it next year...... I was on the fence, this or Florida, but that climb to the transition.....just to much for my first time......

This is all dependant on if the army sends me to Afghanistan or not....

The Wisconsin bike course is far hillier than Florida:

You can use this to directly compare them: http://www.ironmannorthamerica.com/comparebike.html
