Howdy! I'm doing a road trip in early October from Calgary, through Vancouver then down through Seattle to Tahoe. I'm looking for a cool place to stay between Vancouver and Tahoe. It's a 15 hour drive, and I don't feel like doing it all in one day. Eugene looks to be half way, or maybe Portland would be better. I kinda wanted to check Hwy 101 just for the view, but if it's going to be rainy, I'll stick to the interstate. If there's an opportunity to do a ride or two between driving sessions, that would be groovy. Suggestions?
