I just installed the Axiom w/ cadence from PerformanceBike.

I installed it word for word according to the directions. But for some reason I cannot get it to read.

I even took the magnet off and moved it across the sensor to try and get a reading....NOTHING.

Any ideas other than it being dead out of the box?

Try a new battery? They can die in the box.

Also make sure it's seated inside the mount. That's happened to me before.

Sometimes a bit of corrosion will form on the contacts between the mount and the computer. Try cleaning them with an abrasive pencil eraser.

it was the dang contacts. Thanks guys.

I left my old wireless hooked up at the same time. It's almost dead on, it was never off more than .1 from the old one. So who knows which one is right. It's definitly close enough!
