For aerodynamics? For winter weather? For cool weather? For looks?

Why would you wear shoe covers for looks? I kinda think the shoes look much better by themselves rather than being covered up. Just my 2 cents.

I meant, would you rather have neon green shoe covers or a pair of sleek black ones with white accents? I'd surely buy a pair of shoe covers for the looks...;)

What about for keeping your feet dry? It's getting into the rainy season here.

I am looking for shoe covers for winter and fall riding. I don't care about looks or aerodynamics (at least as far as my shoes go).

Anyone know where I can find some neon- or safety-orange waterproof booties? :D It would be nice if they were resistant to wind and cold too!

Isn't it funny how it's often difficult or impossible to find a product that meets your needs? ;)

I have a pair of pretty generic neoprene booties by Activa. They do the trick when it gets nasty cold. I'm going to get something lighter for when it's just cool-cold.

http://www.campmor.com/ has some yellow nylon overshoes for cyclists, about $20. I haven't tried them yet but I'm thinking of giving them a go this fall. I'm also thinking about trying the oversocks (goretex etc.) The reason I haven't tried the campmor boot covers is that they look about as aero as the bread bags I typically use.

How cold does it get where you are? I use Kucharik toe covers that work fine as long as it's not too cold.
