I got this Raleigh cruiser a while back, but I'm not sure what year it's from or what it was called. It might have been called a Newport because that's what was on some of the decals, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure that the handle bars aren't original. Anybody have any ideas???

Newport sounds probable... It's a beach cruiser. Then, back in the day, you wouldn't be caught dead on anything but a Schwinn cruiser at the beach...especially in Newport :)

The idea of a Raleigh beach cruiser is about as screwed up as a football bat -- or a Cadillac pickup truck; it just ain't natural.
