I was thinking that it would be great if we ladies all got together to build some female solidarity within the bike community.

i'm in grad school too, but i find it hard to drag myself off my bike to go study. although i do try to hit the books when i get the chance.

thursday nights are good for me. We can do an east bay pub crawl. I can call gaby and a few other girls but i have a feeling there won't be a huge group, even if gears are invited. We could invite boys and make them wear skirts if they come, or not. There is an oakland bike brigade thing that happens once a month here, gears and fixed mixed. I am a little weary of riding in packs though because people have problems keeping a straight line sometimes, i'm willing to give it a try though.

i think, that if guys wanna ride with us, they need to go to the store, pick out a skirt, and buy it (without using the excuse that it's for their girlfriend or something).

Newbies are definitelly welcome (as long as you try your hardest not to take out your fellow riders)..

skirts are optional.. (they kinda suck to ride in, though..)
