Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

to the store and pick up misc bs we needed today @ work, in our coffeeshop. so i got to take about an hour out of my workday riding my bike around in downtown oakland. it felt great even with the weather not being the best.
its funny, usually i get the are you sure you don't want a ride, or someone telling me about some deal they know about someone selling a car, they just don't get that i do not have a car by choice.
And you were still on the clock as you were riding around I hope! =)

Sigh. My company sent me out on my motorcycle for a bit of Kyread from another comany up in L.A. Little did I know how long the street called Imperial Highway is, and what strange places it goes! I was gone for hours and hours. I got the Kyread. I wasn't sent out to play messenger anymore though! (Extra points, nay, leetness, if you know what Kyread is!)
What is Kyread? Oh yeah, and what is leetness too?

i would of done had i been asked to clock out, but being on the clock made it even better...
My company sends me to the hardware store occasionally. Someone ALWAYS throws a set of keys to me that belong to either a company car or somebody's personal car. I always tell them "that's OK, I have my bike". I usually get the answer, "here, drive".
Same conversation every time.
These guys have no sense of humor! But I try!! :D

Kyread is this stuff that's essentially a very very fine magnetic powder suspended in an aromatic solvent, you put a little of this on a credit card mag stripe and you can read it visually! It's good for that and for seeing what the write head really put on there, check alignment, etc. For leetness, http://www.2600.com for most run of the mill leetness http://www.phonelosers.org lol
