Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Found this on the "riders" section of trekbikes.com:

It makes you wonder... Why would hundreds of cyclists ride to fight against childhood? :)
Do Trek executives know their company is supporting this terrible cause??? :p
What has the world come to? Charity rides against children!!!:roflmao:
--EDIT:-- Got the pic to work.

Your pic isn't coming up--probably someone at Trek noticed the mistake and removed the bad pic. Still, thanks for sharing--I get a chuckle just from imagination. :)

whilst we are on the topic of the trek web site (well we kinda are) found this pearler there a few weeks ago. I understand that this sort of photography is frowned upon .... but obviously someone at Trek didn't worry about that too much.

When I first saw this shot I wasn't sure whether it was a wee break or they had all just run over the same huge pot hole :)
From a couple of web pages I have read, during a long ride a senior team member or captain can call a call-of-nature break. It is considered bad form to attack during such a break. So you need to be able to go-on-demand or else you will probably burst.
It is also bad form for the press to film this part of the race, and indeed you can get fined for having a leak in the view of the public. This could be tricky when there are onlookers everywhere !

I think it is a fight for better childhood for children, Trek definitely won't do such things as to deprive people of their childhood. At least I think so.

It's a ride to fight childhood cancer, actually, but when "cancer" got cut off, it caught my attention!

Why is it that a few of the riders are looking at other riders as they go?? The first guy (to the way left) is full blown looking at the other people!!! :(
