The Aztec 2 brake pads appear longer and curved for better braking.
Because of the shape, they look like they'd be better than the Kool Stops. The graph shows this but does anyone have experience with the Aztec 2's?

I used a set of aztecs for a while (about a year). I prefer kool-stop.

I used these to increase the braking power of some old, extra long reach (75 mm) centerpull brake calipers. Under braking the front caliper arms would flex forward, so that the extended forward portion of the pad abraded the sidewall of my tire, eventually cutting through and popping it. This might not be a problem with shorter reach calipers, but I feel that kool-stops continentals do a better job, especially in the rain.

I've used them (the pads) in the past. They function well, but if I remember correctly they were a little on the fast wearing side.

I put a set (pads) on my ride a few weeks ago, and have been pleased. THey grip the rims very well.. great stopping power. today in the rain they worked great too. I cant comment on wear yet, but at 8$ a pair.. as long as they last a few months Im happpy.
