Please let me know if there is a better place for asking this type of question as I am new to the forum here.

I have a new product idea I am working on that is a small device that will among other things, tell you at all times exactly how much fluid you have in your hydration pack.

I would love to have some feedback from anyone who uses a hydration pack or just has some thoughts on this idea.

Thanks alot in advance for your input.

If it didn't cost extra, and it came with the water insert... sounds great to me lol.

Well, don't stop inventing on my account, but it seems like a non-necessity to me. I can usually tell how I'm doing by the weight.

It is a good idea, just don't make it too heavy. 100 ounces fully loaded with gear is heavy enough. Like I said, count me in. Late.

No offense intended, but it sounds like an answer looking for a problem. I can tell about how much water I have left simply from the weight.

I can too but when Im low Im not sure how low, like when the propane for grill is getting low and your not sure whether its burgers and dogs low or can I get 1 more batch of ribs before running out low( I use charcoal only BTW). mine has a baffled bladder so i cant tell by the sloshing noise anymore. I can guarantee the "jones'" will buy it if its marketed right. sounds like a good idea to me. go for it
