I need some help from any cyclist in England or any one in Europe that can get Xlite products. I am looking for an Xlite Fly DH stem or the Steve Pete series dh stem. I found one place that caries them but was wondering if there might be other shops that have a better price. Any help would be much appreciated.

I found the Wiggle site. Thanks any ways. I was just wondering if any one else over there carries their products.

Wiggle are very good. I've spent a bit of time looking for things and it's only because I can find the same mainstream products I need locally, that takes away the incentive to order by internet. I will use them sometime.
I looked at the xlite site. They only list something like 3 outlets in the UK. The only one I know is the Evans group. They are at www.evanscycles.co.uk.
Out of interest, the h/o for Evans and their main showroom (I've seen a couple in London as well) is about 5 mins drive from where I live near Gatwick Airport, which is where they are close to. I'll be going down there tomorrow, so if there's anything you'd like me to find out, I'll be happy to do it for you.

Could you perhaps price an Xlite Steve Pete Signiture dh stem for me? Would appreciate it. Also, I do not know if they will have it but if they have a Grimeca System 17 brake system I would like to get a set. If you have not seen the system it has six piston calipers on 200mm rotor in front and 185 in rear. They are a bit heavy but that is not a problem. The Grimeca importer here said they are expecting them to arrive by October. I do not think I can wait that long since the race season will be over by then.
Thanks for the offer.

No problem. I copy-and-pasted your shopping/wish list and I'll print it out and take it there tomorrow lunchtime.
I'll also find out if they have a shipping channel option to post stuff across.
I'll let you know more tomorrow.
Glad to be of help.

I'm afraid the news is not too good from this side either. I went to Evans and they have had the XLite salesman pass through with one of the stems you were looking for. Apparently it's quite a stubby shape, so the guys told me, but they've been told they wont have it in stock until mid-October thereabouts.
Pretty much the same for the disc brakes. They phoned the distribution outlet, and while they can get them on special request, they've also been told not until October again.
They could not confirm in either case what price they might sell for. They did say they probably could send overseas but they've never had anyone ask for that, so that would need a decision from 'upstairs'.
I've got to know the guys at the shop quite well and I can trust the information they gave me. They know all about Steve Peat and one of the guys in the shop whose into dh type things has said the stem looks good enough to want it buy it whether he needs it or not!
Sorry about the bad news.:(
If there's anything else you'd like me to pursue, I'll be happy to stay on the 'case'.
Peter.

Thanks for checking into it. I get the same responses overe here. It looks as though I will have to build my bike up with local parts for now. Again, thanks for the help.
