hah... almost funny. ;-) i just talked to chris (guy doing the paint) about that. and all the welds have bondo over them, making them look so smooth. so he's having to pick that all off, combined with the fact that he doens't have a vinyl cutter when he thought he would have one a long time ago... it's basically just one big clusterfsuck. so, soonish.

and i'm making tentative plans to come out to chicago in november for julie's alleycat..... you know, you talk chicago up so much :D

baaaahahahahahah You're never going to get that ****ing thing back!

That's awesome!!! You're welcome to stay at my place. Oh and Chicago kicks ASS!

Oh and Chicago kicks ASS!

I had a friend the other day trying to convince me that moving to Chicago would be a good idea... I think its kinda like how married couples always try to pull their friends down with them. :D

Pixel, WTF? I asked you out for another date tonight, and you said you'd be washing your hair or something.

You think I don't read these forums? You're such a slut.

You never asked me out proper, giving me a blanket statement of "what are you doing tomorrow".
I don't see how you landed a girl and duped her into getting engaged with that technique. See if I hang out on Transplants porch with you ever again!

Got this via email, thought some people might want to check it out:

Many of you may be interested whether or not you are fit properly on
your bike. Improper fit is the leading cause of fatigue and injury in
Cycling. A proper fit will change all that and give you the added
benifit of comfort on the bike. Landrys bicycles on Commonwealth ave
will be having CYFAC the leaders in fit in the shop tonight tuesday
Oct. 3 at 6pm till close. These guys have made a very special trip
from France to be here and it would be extermely informitive for you to
come. The CYFAC Postural Fit system also known as the cabinet will
take exact dimensions of your body that will then be imput into a
computor and anyalized for the proper positioning on the bike. Please
feel free to come by this evening and enjoy some cheese and beverages
and talk with the experts. If you are interested in getting a fit this
evening or in the near furture please let me know. the current retail
price for the fit is $150 but Landrys is doing a special for those who
attend this evening. Also this is not only for Road bikes and will
work on any brand. Bring your MTN bike, Cross, Track, Time Trial, or
Road bike and they can fit you to the most effective position. I
recently got a fit using this system and it has completely changed the
way in which I ride. I am 100% more comfortable, my power output has
increased and my fatigue levels have gone down. I look foward to
seeing everyone down at Landrys on Commonwealth ave at 6pm tonight oct.
3rd.

Everyone rides on Thursday nights 10pm meeting at the Christian Science center reflecting pool but other rides come up all the time. Lots of people went to Zuzu last night and that was chill.

saturday or sunday would be good. If it's saturday, I vote for late afternoon atleast, since that is approximately the next time i'm going to be sober and not hungover. :-)

I'm down for riding sometime this weekend, I'm not a morning person though so afternoons are better for me.

srcurran
10-06-06, 04:39 PM
I would be down for a big-ish weekend ride (25-30 miles+), but would really be down for anything.

I think Sunday works best for me, but I could make Saturday work too. Monday is right out (as I have work)

sers
10-06-06, 05:13 PM
not a morning person either. atm, i'd prefer sunday or monday. my quads are killing me.

i'm relatively new to boston... if people are riding monday i would love to get in on that.

blu3d0g
10-06-06, 05:55 PM
sunday might work, probably have to be atleast after 2, i have work in the morning for who knows how long, monday late afternoon, like after 3 or 4 would be good too. I don't know if I could handle a big ride, my riding is generally in about 3.5 mile bursts (my daily commute) each way, but I can certainly try.

cityraincityst
10-06-06, 07:07 PM
I'd be down for a sunday ride... or even a weekday ride... I work from 9-6 out in brighton everyday so I'm good for a night ride.

Morgie
10-06-06, 08:46 PM
20+ miles is a bit much IMO, atleast this weekend...

blu3d0g
10-07-06, 12:13 PM
it looks like sunday afternoon is going to be best for this, so I'm thinking around 3 or 4? either of those make any difference for people (I can't go any earlier than 3 because of work)?
