i am going. i'm still trying to decide if i should come out to boston on friday and go down with all y'all or just show up in prov on saturday.. is anything worthwhile going on on friday that would seal the deal?

who is taking the commuter rail?
who wants to go together?

i'm planning on leaving early so I can scope out a few of these check points and cut some nice routes, because unlike every other race, i want to win this one.i probably still wont even place..... :-(

ohhhh yea! i think commuter rail has a "family deal" where if a large group is traveling together they all get a discounted rate. this was in effect when i was 17... so this could be no more.

right now it's a toss between: race saturday vs. show sunday

my (academic) life doesn't provide many options otherwise. unless i don't sleep until saturday. we'll see what happens.

My attendance on Saturday is up in the air, dependant on a couple things including my final project thats due on Monday and Chris constantly harrassing me to go with him to the show on Sunday.

I doubt I will be going, but if anyone wants to do 40 miles this morning, I'm headed out around 11:30 to take advantage of this warmer weather. Be warned though-- me and the other 2 guys have gears.

Eva Stabs

the ladies division of your team (ie, me) will not be bailing. but i will probably be riding with my own ladies division, ie, other girls.

so people who are racing: meet up at south station at 11 and train it down?

I will not be doing anything bike related untill I can breath like a normal person. I will however be raging very hard at the show on Sunday.

the chance to see Cara raging at a show is almost enough to get me to go...

and holy crap its beautiful outside today. kinda wish I had woken up earlier/stepped outside sooner to take advantage of it.

So today I found out that a 24-count case of Narragansett tall-boys is the exact dimensions of my bike basket...

We should come up with a name for the Ladies' Division. The Lady Giants? Or maybe just the Ladies' Division? The Lady G Power Squad?

yar! I like the Ladies' Division. It has a nice ring to it. Tonight at craft night we were throwing around names for a ladies team but nothing stuck yet. We talked about making shirts that said quail-tard to make the losers wear. it's a long story.

yes! There were actually a lot of boston kids down in providence for the race, which was great. i went down with some first-time racers from our new ladies' team, as well as rob, who took first out of town. it was rad.

I actually got up the first time my alarm went off and rush in the shower in order to have time to put the fenders on my bike and then got on the road and you could hardly tell it snowed!!

P.S. I think I might have called/txt you by mistake the other day, sorry, damn none flip phone...

That's exactly what i was thinking- complete with guy #3 (aka yours truely) frantically swerving.

Only i went off into the grass rather than up the track.

extra drinking involved

ill post more info soon - those of you who didnt make it last time.... you missed a great time... dont miss this one.
maybe insted of charging everyone, we can make everyone bring a six pack and pay $1 for the entry fee to cover the spoke cards?
