So the hangover this morning was awsome to say the least and having to be at work at 9:30 was even better. We will have to get another Blitz going again come early Jan. So where are the other pics Scott?
Team one held it down I must say we had endurance and strong stomachs. Next time we should all drink 6 beers to make it more of a pukefest.

Can the next one be during the day, because we all know that drinking during the day is awesome. You should also set a firm date nowish so people know.

i think next time if one of your team mates vomit on themselves they get bonus points and if they vomit on their teammates they win automatically

You only say that because you're a puke machine!!

now you're going to give yourselves points for most disturbing display of projectile vomit? is that your way of dealing with the fact that you guys couldn't stop spewing beer & bile while corinne and i held our beer in quite nicely? ;)

on my birthday blitz (14th): I want it to start at 2pm (it is a Sunday, and also daytime drinking...) and I want there to be a bbq. Anyone think either of these are too risky to do on a public street in Allston?

Anybody ever rode their bike to the airport? I am not opposed to the T, but I have a 6AM flight on Friday and should be getting there before the trains even start running. I am assuming there are some asinine policies in place about where I can't lock a bike for four days. Will be locking extra carefully, for sure.

getting to logan is nearly impossible.

the only routes there are all underground highways such as 90 and 1a. then there is route 1 north over the tobin which is not rideable either. the only way i can think of is 99 north to beacham st which will take you right to logan.

if your down for the ride give it a shot

Massbike has information about riding your bike to Logan (http://www.massbike.org/info/airport.htm)

Though I would be nervous about leaving my bike outside anywhere for four days. I would think it would be worth it to take a cab. According to the site there are no secure places to lock and it is ass backwards to get there from anywhere other than Chelsea.

Maybe give the neighbors a heads up, tell 'em we're a community bike club and invite them over for some bbq. Also probably keep the alcohol relatively low key (maybe have everyone bring a paper bag?) while it's light out, just in case cops show.

I think we could get away with it though.

The last Silver Line bus to the airport leaves South Station at 12:45, and would only get you there a few hours early as another option. I feel like the airport bars that are past security in other airports I've been in are open all night, not sure if thats the case in Logan though.

Anybody heading down for the weekend? I was there last year for the Times Up ride and to see friends and there's no better place to celebrate. I'm thinking about the AlleyKitten. I'd consider driving my Exploder rather than dealing with the bikes on the bus and could fit two others and three bikes in there.

there should be some sort of a drink-your-face-off until midnight race or something of the sorts...

speaking of abandoned fixed/ss, there's a Van Dessel like mine (although much more uglified with tape and crap tires/wheels/etc) that's been sitting in Kendall square a little down from the Au Bon Pain for a month also.

I'm almost ready to cut that lock....

the garmin is pretty neat in a geeky kinda way... i'll give you the tour when i'm back... ^_^

the bike is working well... not a bike i could race competitively on without some component changes, but it's a good ride.

Yeah, I ride occasionally with a dude that has a 205. The price on the 301 has dropped so much that I'm trying hard to not pull the trigger, but I may this summer, especially if I can't solve the problems of the computer/hrm that I'm using right now.

I think your fondreist has very similar components to the merckx-- pre99 chorus right? You got a deal. With that price tag, you can swap out the group, and still be way under retail.

I have a friend that picked up a rival group for me from gvh. I'm going to make the upgrades very soon, but the chorus group is amazing in so many ways and I'll be putting it on Gwen's bianchi as part of her Xmas present.

Before I forget, you have to get on this bike that belongs to a girl that Aaron's seeing. It made me feel gigantic.
