yeah, i'm starting to see what you mean about skid comps/sprints in southie.

You just don't find those kinds of unoccupied straightaways anywhere else in the city, that I've found.

hey everybody! so i've heard from kilgore about coming out to nyc for the metal race and then going to philly for the reload race this weekend. is anyone else from boston coming up for either of these?
these races are going to rule. hard. gimme a heads up if you want to come out and need a place to stay. nyc loves you. hard.

i will be..."in costume" for the metalrace, and assuming i'm not washing (which is very probably) will look the same/slightly messier for the r.e.load race.

that was actually the ride that gary, dan, danny and i did earlier in the day. tonight we went to bunker hill and then i split off on the way back.

and goldenskeletons, i'll be meeting up w/ gary in nyc after the metal race and heading down to philly for r.e.load. probably take a 10 or 11pm bus.

i'll be doing the RR marathon ride on monday, fixed. only think is, i've been told the wheelchair racers start earlier than RR planned, so i dont know if that's true or if they know that or what.

You guys are in for an interesting ride it looks like, nor'easter coming,rain/snow, 20mph headwinds with gusts higher... I'm torn between hoping the weathermen are all wrong, and thinking it would be neat if it's worse. I'm gonna be a frozen skinny mess by the end of the run. I'll try to shout at any bikers if my mouth works.

Oh, wheelchairs go off at 9:25, elite women at 9:35, elite men (and me a little behind them) at 10

i'm looking to put on a real spur of the moment race sometime within the next month. no real sponsors, no sick prizes, just a fun, loosely themed race. is anyone interested in working checkpoints? i'll have more specifics later, but PM me if you're interested in working a checkpoint.

SATURDAY MAY 12TH, there WILL be a boston race. i'm just solidifying some checkpoints and getting some help with making fliers, and info will be released.
FRIDAY MAY 11TH, i will be releasing hints.

Had such a fun time on the rock island ride! Alice and I then decided to get lost in Newton and do some crazy hills (not on purpose) but brutal.
