Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Welcome email is being sent 1k times a day

I registered a couple of days ago and ever since then I have received a copy of that welcome email every minute or two. I'm at well over 2 thousand now. I'm pretty sure this is not my systems problem, since all other emails come through just once, so I can only imagine that it is a problem with bike forum systems, but I don't know for sure. I tried to reply to joe.gardner@bikeforums.net but I was sent a notification that that email didn't work, so I'm hoping someone can take a look at my account and cut off the flow.

Ok, I contacted an Admin that probably can do something. I am going to my Admin control panal, and I'll see if I can figure it out too.

I'm looking into this right now, until then, i have disabled welcome emails site wide.

OK, it's not the welcome email this time it's a private message mailer. It's the exact same problem though; email from BF coming almost one a minute.

Ok, well for now try to disable that feature. That should handle it for now, but I will look into this one...

I've disabled this feature in my control panel, but still the messages keep coming...

I don't want to have to filter through Outlook, what should I do next?

do it, I am making a guess that you should filter. I take it you can take off the filter?

I will contact one of the admin directly and get this handled.

I hate to be a pain about this, but my computer was fritzing, and luckily I realized it was because I had 12k BF emails in the "Junk" folder. They're still coming with a vengance. Any chance of taking another look and seeing what can be done about this?

Thanks so much, I had completely forgotten about it...

It is definetly not normal, so there is some bug I guess...

No offence but I find this funny and amusing...for me. Hehe, your 'very welcome'...oh god all the jokes. Anyway I really do hope you can get this problem sorted out, it would be pretty annoying if it happened to me...which it isn't and thats why i can make jokes :D.

This is something funny that would be better happening to Geore Kastanzas on Seinfeild..hehe...ok i'll stop now :)
