Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ive been in the mountain bike world now for a few years. Ive always heard people talking about how hardtails are better than duelys and vise versa. Well what do you guys think about this? Honestly i love hardtails and whould never buy a duel suspension bike! BTW, when I say better i mean for hitting 5 to 15 foot jumps!

So, if you have no intention of buying a dual suspension bike, what exactly are you asking?

I was just asking for everyones opinion. You know, the pros and cons. Man, if your goin to give a reply like that, maybe you should not give the reply in the first place!
Ok well Dual, sorry if my english is not the best!
hardtails are better for dirtjumping.
do you just want to know about dj or should i continue on the pros and cons of a fs to a ht?

You can continue, if you want! (to much info is better than not enough)
later, actually im going for a ride in 10 mins so i gotta get the stuff togather.(on a full suspension)
Lol, I think the people you are associating with are stupid. Hardtails and duels have different purposes and uses. Neither are better than the other.
