So here is a general outline of what I will eat in the course of a day, but do keep in mind it is pretty general.

Morning-8:00. Granola with yogurt. The yogurt is 4 parts low fat, plain yogurt, 1 part strawberry or some other fruit yogurt. On lifting mornings (3 days a week) I add whey protein to the yogurt instead of fruit yogurt. Couple cups of coffee.
10:30ish-Peanuts, mixed nuts of some kind or some trail mix type stuff.
Lunch-12:30ish. Turkey sandwich, grilled chicken breast, something like that. Usually salad too. Sometimes granola again! (I love granola)
2:30-3:30ish-Whole wheat bagel with real unsalted, unsugared peanut butter.
6:30-Pasta, salad, sandwich, etc... Something to that effect. Actually, it is often chicken curry. I often have green tea too.

I feel like I am doing pretty well in general. I think my protein is high enough, and enough complex carbohydrates. Any suggestions of thinks to add or subtract?

that sounds mighty good. Just checking, but when you make your own pasta, I'd make sure to make whole wheat pasta. It's hard when eating pasta out to find whole wheat but I know Macaroni Grill has it available. Keep up the good work. If you like the peanut butter, try Kettle Cashew Butter. It's sweet by itself and tastes great.

Just out of curiosity, what are you goals in the request?

The only suggestions I would make is to change up the granola (is it sugary?)and the yogurt for a little less calorie dense items (then you get to have more if your calorie intake is good for you). Trying switching to oatmeal some days. Also lowfat cottage cheese has more protein/good stuff then yogurt. Instead of nuts for snack you could do cheese and triscuts (trying to suggest something in simalar size and protein/carb mix)

Are you getting enough veggies? I try to make sure I have at least one veggie with every snack or meal.

Sure, your body just metabolizes the protein and turns it into fat. Most people only need around 45-60g a day. I have almost never in my life eaten fruit. I am fairly allergic to many fruits, so they are right out. It's something of a mystery as to what I am allergic to in them, as there doesn't appear to be a significant common denominator to them other than the fact that they are fruit. I eat berries though. I eat a fairly significant amount of salad, vegtables, etc...

Actually, you can't eat too much protein. Your body doesn't convert protein into fat. Excess amino acids are just flushed down the toilet since your body cannot store them. This is the basis behind the Atkins diet. However, fatty proteins like ground-beef and sausages will have that fat move directly from the food into your adipose tissues with hardly any effort at all. It goes straight in with just a -10% loss in digestion and transport. Carbs on the other hand lose -40% of their calories in conversion to fats.

There really is a syndrome where you get mouth, throat and stomach pains from fresh citrus fruit. Something about the acids or somethin'. It was really wierd the first time I heard of it, but there's a certain very small minority of people that's allergic. If you cook the fruit, like apples into apple-pie or peach-cobblers, they appear to be able to handle it.
