How durable are elite ksyriums? I put on quite a few miles and would like to know how well these wheels hold up.

I bought mine used last year, they came standard on the previous owner's Bianchi. He rode them for about a year before upgrading to SLs because the rear wheel out of true. He didn't seem to know how to true a wheel. I have put about 1200 miles on them so far. I find them to be fantastic, very rigid, and very stable in high speed descents. So far I only had to true my rear wheel once, just for a minor adjustment.

SO far I have only one Kyserium fail in a non crash fashion. It was an SL, used as a trainer, and cracked at the eyelet. The Elites do not have the scalloping in the rim so they are even tougher

I have had a great experience with them.

My front has been planted into a ditch at 80km/hr. Frame completely snapped, my elites were still perfectly true.

My rear has had a brach get jammed between the spokes, still perfect

They have been pretty thrashed but I can't reccommend them highly enough

Got two sets, both used, and love them. They are very durable and fast. Only beef is that the rears have a tendency to go out of true a bit more than a traditional 36 spoke wheel. No knock on the K's, could be more of a low spoke count wheel issue.
