I am 5'8 165 pounds and I have large frame Cannondale F300 is that the right size??? Please help...
SHould I upgrade to disk brakes???

I'm 5'8" too and a 17" frame suits me well. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think a 17" frame is consideded to be a medium, as far as S, M and L frame sizing goes.

That's right. If I was 5'8", I'd get an M/17" frame aswell.

i'm 5 10-11 and i've got a large hardrock (19") and it fits me just fine.

5'9" and got a 18.5" Norco Wolverine frame... size only starts to feel a tad (.5") too big after 150km. Got a stem that was 10mm shorter and it's all good now.
