I recently went to Pedal Revolution (SF, CA) and had my spokes tightened. Now, the chain has fallen off the derailleur 3 times on my ZebraKenko. Do you think I need a replacement part? I don't think they even make parts for this bike anymore. I put it back underneath the little hook of the derailleur, which I have never seen on other road bikes and the chain doesn't fall off, BUT when I backpedal, it pops off.

Oh, what to do?

Easy. Don't backpedal.

Is the wheel crooked in the dropouts?

well, i just backpedaled after i put the chain back on and did it slowly this time.....the derailleur is too far from the chain path....can i tighten this myself? the back wheel is as straight as it's going to get--i doubled checked this....****ing shop ****.

they also overcharged me when i got my wheel fixed....prolly knew if they ****ed it up i would be back for more.

Instead of *****ing here how about go back to the shop and tell them what is up. If A mistake was made by them they will want to remedy it.

By the way I am a shop **** as well, so you can stick it up your ass as we are the ones, on this forum, that usually try to help you guys.

Are you trying to shift without pedaling forwards, and then pedaling backwards?

Which sprocket derails, front or rear? Does it derail in one specific gear, or multiple gears?
