I was just thinking about this "peak Oil thing." All those apocolyptic movies from the 70's seemd to feel that oil and refineries would still be around in the last days, none of the movies are set on bicycles. I suppose it would have been a totally different movie had Mad Max been on a Trek Carbon fiber chasing after the motorcycle gang who would ride BMXs or MTBs. I dunno, "I am the Night rider!" Yelled by a leather clad goon on a BMX...
