undefinedundefinedHi there from the U.K, I`ve been into bikes since the late 50`s when I was a teenager.
I started racing @ 1960. After owning a Claud Butler and a Paris I bought a new Frejus, fully Campagnolo equipped whereupon I really started taking the whole thing seriously. I used to help out in Don Farrels shop after school and weekends. I currently own a 1963 Condor, 1979 Harry Quinn, 1980 Pianni, 1986 Peugeot and a 1994 Olmo, all of them Campag equipped....absolutely love the stuff! Besides these I have a 1939 Daycock who was a London lightweight dealer. The fittings on this are Sturmey Archer gears, Chater Lea pedals, Lytalloy chainring, BSA cranks, Brooks saddle, Harding front hub on Dunlop special lightweight stainless steel rims and GB brakes. It`s a really enjoyable experience riding this knowing that so much of Britains past cycling history is all together on one bike.
Could go on forever about bikes and characters that I`ve had the good fortune to be involved with.
regards to all.
