I just got a thousand miles on my bike. Is there any recommended preventive maintenance that should be done now? I brought it in for a 30 hour check and my bike is riding fine, but I'm big on heading off problems before they develop if possible. Given the fact that the season is coming to an end, should I just wait for a good spring tune up? Thanks

you use the word "season", and that make me presume that you have a fancy bike with lots of sealed bearings and nothing adjustable/repackable. is that the case?
either way, check to see it anything that spins give crunches or wobbles. if so, report back. does you shifting and braking behave the way that it is supposed to? if not, report back

Here's Trek's take on scheduled maintenance. YMMV....
