I was watching the tube last night and caught a commercial that I thought was positive to bikes.
It was a VW ad for it's new fangled lights.
A cyclist is riding down a road at night (with lights) when the bike lights fliker and go out. The cyclists taps them and is bugged when they stay out.
First cars comes up and honks while passing the cyclist (typical). Second car comes up, stays behind the cyclist. The cyclist waves the car on but t seems, the driver wants to help the cyclist and follows him so the cyclist can benefit by using the light from the new fangled headlights on this car.
At the end of the commercial the motorist and cyclist line up at a stop line and both of them acknowledge the good deed.
Wow. A motorist using his car to help out a cyclist. I think I've seen it all now.
