Hi John.
Glad you're back safe from Baghdad.
What part of town do you ride in?

I am up around the north dekalb end, the Tucker/stone mountain area, if anyone could enlighten me on some local mtb trails that are fun i would appreciate it, the only place i really know of is stone mountain, and im not sure they even have trails for riding.

I'm a roadie and ride out there from Decatur nearly every Saturday and/or Sunday.
lots of road bikes riding to/from and around the mountain on the inner and outer loops. Some people even ride mtn bikes.
Sorry but I don't know of any trails out there.

Have you contacted anyone at SORBA (http://www.sorba.org) about trails in the Atlanta area?

yeah, i just checked at Stone Mountain, all the trails are for hiking....i would love to ride out to the mountain even though i have a mtn bike, i would still do it. Only thing is i would be a lot slower then others, and im not sure if my Wal-Mart bike will make it.
