I honestly wouldnt waste ur money workin on a haro. honestly i feel bad for u for buyin one. no im not biased and against haro, i just wish someone told me this $1,500 ago.

start savin up for a new bike, haros dont last long, and to think i always thought they were the best.

i Have a 2005 Haro Nyquist Pro and a 2003 Haro Function F5 and neither lasted me more than 6 months w/o having more damage then the bikes value.

As for the brakes the fly do look real nice. I think i recall seein cables like the ones u need made by odyssey, but i may be wrong

How did you spend $1500 on a bike? $1000 is going to get you a top shelf bike.

$850 for the nyquist and $400 for the F5 and the rest was repairs/upgrades

Nothing wrong with Haro, as it's not the bike, it's the rider. My guess? You suck at BMX.

Wow, $60 for brakes. It would be a waste for me to get them because my wheel is never very true and I really wouldnt be able to have them runnin well for long, but they look hot.

lmfao are you serious? you cant take my word for it that i suck, i could see if i was braggin to be the best or sumthin. n for tricks i cant do much.

-i got manuals dialed in
-i can bunnyhop 2 to 2-1/2 ft
-i can x-up
-i can x-up manual
-n i can land with my arms still crossed and bars backwards (i only do that cuz i wont to learn to x - up grind but i want to get good at taking impacts like that so i dont bust my wrists)
-i can tuck off jumps and get pretty good air
-i was gettin better at feebles and double pegs, but i messed up my bike too much trying.
-ive been workin on landing in manuals, manual to hop, and bunny hop 180 but i cant do them good yet

happy now, you proved that i suck

id like to be better, but i got no one to show me.
i have to learn everythin on my own

and this thread was suposed to be about his fly brakes question, so how about you get the hell off my back and let ppl post about the brakes so he can find what he needs to no.

1) F*ck Dans.
2) I happen to use a pair of Fly brakes, and I can guarantee you that they come with them.

As stated above, go anywhere but dans. All brakes now adays come with all the necessary hardware. Honestly, these brakes should be one of the last upgrades for your bike, most people Ive come in contact with have bought these for the low stacke height. It only takes a little tinkering to make most brakes work well. And to the guy who says Haro sucks, look at all the kids around you that ride Haro/Premium stuff and realize that you are one of the few with any complaints.

I had Fly brakes, they are nice but the Evolvers are more flexible (and stiffer, if you get me), esp if you run a short rear end.
As far as stack height goes as long as you run regular side drive they can also be lowered quite a bit, providing you have some odd brake bits lying around and a decent file.
