For those that were having problems with the lever reach adjustment screw coming loose. I was reading that people were using loctite on the screw. The problem with this was that if any of it got on the plunger it would cause more serious problems, so after talking to a hayes service tech and my lbs mechanic, the best way to fix this would be to use 2 wraps of white teflon tape on the threads. This way it keeps the threads tight and no loctite mess. Worked great for me so far.

I just adjusted those screws on my preride check this evening. I agree, you have to be careful with Loctite.
To get the tape wrapped around it, I assume you have to advance the screw completly out of the threaded barrel?
I will try this method.
