When will it give prices? The remedy 5 looks pretty nice.

What gives? Did they ditch the Bruiser line-up for this Jack stuff?

i guess they did. can't say i disagree with the change though.. i consider it an evolution. IMO the bruiser was its own niche anyways... not exactly freeride, but not exactly trails.

Treks design department dropped the ball again and this time it broke. The only ones that look good are the sessions.

From the looks of things, they might be from under 500 to over 800...

The geometry of the Remedy looks very Ellsworth "Instant Center"- ish (or whatever they call their setup) though I notice that the rearmost pivot is on the seatstay rather than the chainstay - thus saving Trek the ignominy of paying a licensing fee to Specialized but preventing them from having a true 4-bar linkage.

(I Love my Fuel like an old friend, but the "single-pivot multi-link" has the pedaling/braking shortcomings of a single pivot with the complexity/maintainence issues of a 4-bar - kind of funny)

My two choices were a trek 6700 or a specialized stumpjumper. Honestly I chose the 6700. I just love trek. I know everyone here hates trek as mtbs, but honestly. My friend has a trek hardtail. Hes had it for over 2 years.. It has over 1000 miles on it and its still running strong.

heres the bike im getting vv
