Back in the mid 70's I had a bike based on an old frame, and I am just curious (and may want to build another some day for nostalgic reasons)

The bike was a 24" cruiser (appeared to be very old when I got it in the 70's) with triple top tube, but not what I typically see with one large top tube and two smaller tubes below it. It had two small tubes above the larger tube.

Any idea about what make(s) or model(s) may have had this configuration?

I am pretty sure older Schwinn cruisers used this frame design(early 1960's). Other companies have copied this design but I do not remember anyone besides Schwinn making a 24" cruiser.

That frame is similar, only the one I had was a 24" instead of 20" I actually bent the rear fender bracket slightly to mount a set of 26 X 1 3/8 wheels and tires.

In fact I ended up making something like that bike only larger scale...

I replaced the stock cruiser seat with a banana seat, the stock cruiser handlebars were replaced with a pair a friend gave me. He called them butterfly bars, which were high rise, then looped at the top... The rear wheel was a 3 speed, and I rigged both hand brakes to brake the rear wheel, which worked ol most of the time because all of my weight was directly over the rear whel

I remember wanting a bike with a stick shift, they were so cool!
