Looks great. Ignore the jerks that bust on you on the forum. Front brakes are not ********. You can do some cool things with front brakes, other than stopping faster. But you should have built a cruiser instead though. hehe just kidding.

You've got to ask yourself why FTC didn't choose that name too.

You thinks your so big, using big words like stick and bash. If you want to get down to mental capacity, what you said wasn't sarcasm. Sarcasm is an ironic statement. What's ironic about "they have sticks up their asses." That's pretty straight forward. Also, you said "expect people" meaning plural so you should have said "people of your mental capacity", and left out the own meaning singular. The people who responded to you are being silly, it has nothing to do with their "mental capacity."

I think your a BMX poser.

sxe or darin?

sxe fbm rider
09-30-05, 12:45 PM
If you are talking about me, I couldn't imagine what you would be basing that on. I didnt' even mention bmx in my last post. And the whole poser thing is pretty old. You either ride or you dont. I've been riding for 5 years, there for I ride.

Darin
09-30-05, 01:32 PM
sxe or darin?

I'm not sure what a poser would be. Someone that doesn't ride a BMX bike at all, or doesn't ride well, or doesn't race, or just rides with other that ride well and or race. I'm probably 1/2 poser myself. I like to ride BMX. I don't do any trick to speak of. I used to do a pretty mean table top. But they don't seem to impresive anymore. I like to jump, but not too high. I don't ride with any other bmx'ers, other than my son. And it's a great way to spend time together. Plus he works with me one day a week. Anyway, in the category of "poser" I'd probly fit the bill in many eys around here. At least in the hardcore rider's eyes. But to the average guy, I like to think I can fit in. I'm not to proud to lose, and have fun doing it.

queensrider86
09-30-05, 02:30 PM
Sure they are.

that bike is worth $50 at most

marcus987
09-30-05, 02:53 PM
i dont exactly have the money to buy expensive parts like you because i still go to school and the only income is my paper round money

i dont want an expensive bike because im like still a beginner

Isuck@bmx
09-30-05, 03:38 PM
I was talking about my name being sarcastic, not what I said about people having sticks up their asses... I'm sorry for not clarifying. And Marcus, I think its smart to not spend alot of money if you're a beginner.

I've been riding for 5 years, there for I ride.
While we're criticising each other for pointless reasons, the word you were looking for would be therefore. :D

Brian
09-30-05, 03:59 PM
It's doesn't matter how much your bike is worth. The most expensive bike around won't make you a better rider either. Dedication is far more important than money spent. I won't ever win any races, because I don't have the time to practice as much as I should. But I still have fun, and that's what counts. If you're not having fun, go play with your Playstation. If you're having fun, it doesn't matter what you ride.

mott464
09-30-05, 07:20 PM
that bike is worth $50 at most
Its not by any meens the most exspensive bike but its worth way more than 50.00 dollers. Its 150.00 U.S.
but like Ex says who cares about the price all that matters is you have fun on it.

ok cuz i was bout to say that SXE most definately is not a poser, whatever the definition of that is, and Darin, as he pointed out, isn't a poser either, but i might just agree about the kid who started this thread, but lets let him speak for himself...

Yeah, because Odyssey Black Widow cranks are oh-so-nice, especially with even Odyssey employees recommending not to use them.

this forum is starting to suck againwhen haro rider, flyboy, and those other **** were here, it sucked. we got rid of them, and kinetic, mude and lunchbox came. they are all ******** but they knew the difference between a decent bike and a piece of **** with chrome plating

the kid that started the thread wasted money on a bike that belongs in the garbage. he's hardcore, he probably busts out insane tricks like peg wheelies or barturns of curbs

Actually, it's a multi-stage process involving several other metal coatings, nickel and brass if I recall correctly.

CMcMahon
10-01-05, 04:59 PM
Yes, but it's still not paint.

Brian

Yeah, but Queensrider is totally ghetto, so some of his homeboys may have some chrome paint.

There is actually a very convincing chrome paint available now, but i dont know how well it would hold up. I'm trying to get my night train chrome plated. They use nickel and copper.
