Seems the dogs have sniffed around for a couple years and couldn't substantiate the accusations.

Think there will be any apologies forthcoming?

Are there ongoing 2001 and 2002 doping investigations? :) What a waste of time and money...

I think the French cycle media are resentful of the success of non-French riders and teams. When Indurain was at his peak, there were questions raised, same against Armstrong. They just don't appreciate (or want to) that Indurain and Armstrong were both very disciplined riders, trained hard, and rightly enjoyed the success they did get, without doping. Sean Yates also came under scrutiny, but once he married a french woman, he was accepted as a good rider, talented, and very clean.:D

Laurent Jalabert is a talented rider, but noone ever questions his success as a stage winner or as a jersey winner. Le Tour is still bruised from the Festina affair a few years back, and the bloodhounds that latched onto that are still the same dogs that tried to hunt Armstrong. All those dogs found, was the smell of their own sh1t.
