Are skateboard helmets safe for cycling?

Are BMX helmets comfortable to wear in the summer?

Some helmets are safe for skating, but not all skate helmets are safe for riding. You'll have to look if the helmet has the CPSC sticker.

My Bellistic is pretty toasty in the summer, but it has fewer vents than a normal helmet would have. You'd sweat a lot even with an open-face helmet with minimal venting. They're nice in the winter, though.

I wear a bmx helmet on my fix and I prefer it to other helmets because it makes me look cooler...or because they tend to be cheaper...something like that. I wore it in the hot SoCal summer and was fine. Then again, nothing compares to wearing a kevlar in the humid Maryland summer for two weeks straight.

I wear one of these only helmet Ive ever owned I like it alot
Pretty comfortable in the summer but I always sweat alot so can't comment on the breathability
